A little kindness goes a long way.
The smallest acts of kindness, like holding a door for someone or adding change to a nearly expired parking meter, can make a large impact in someone’s life. Random Acts of Kindness Day is a day to celebrate and share kindness. Today, we took the Office Essentials Fun Truck to visit one of our favorite customers, Maryville University, to do just that.
For our random act of kindness, we handed out carnations to Maryville University students, faculty, and staff. The reactions we received ranged from smiles, sighs, laughter, and hugs. One of the most rewarding moments we witnessed was watching one student pay it forward by offering his flower to another student.
It’s moments like these that help remind us that there is good in the world and that by just helping someone smile it can inspire them to do the same for someone else.
