Education Furniture Customer Success Story

Pearce Hall is an Alternative Program School in the Wentzville School District. The district planned to completely remodel and build a new addition onto the existing building in 2019. They asked Office Essentials to transform the space for the staff and students.

The administrators’ vision was to provide the students with a comfortable and traditional feel while enhancing their school pride by utilizing the maroon and gold school colors across the spaces. Another goal was to provide an environment the students would feel at home and to provide common areas for learning & collaboration.

Laura Harlow, Senior Education Furniture Designer for Office Essentials, met with the district to understand priorities for the project including budget, building flow, furniture requirements, and learning objectives for each space in the building.

Then she presented furniture selections, color schemes, drawings, and renderings for the project in both 2D and 3D plans to assist the district with understanding the form and function of all the furniture. Once product selection was complete, Laura presented the budget and timeline to the district which met and exceeded all the priorities set forth for the project to provide a practical learning environment for the students & staff.

Installation was completed in July 2020. The district and students are thrilled with their new spaces!

Testimonial

“It was a real pleasure working with everyone at OE.  From design to install and setup, the employees were knowledgeable, flexible, and professional.  The designer, Laura, had great ideas and worked with both my vision and my budget.  The installers were prompt and efficient.  I had a great experience working with the team at OE and would recommend to any other company looking at designing a new office or purchasing new furniture”
