OE’s Kansas City Team Volunteering at Harvesters Food Bank

Giving back to the communities we work and play in is a guiding principle for Office Essentials, and we encourage our team members to get involved in worthy causes they believe in whenever they can. A perfect example of this happened last week when members of our Kansas City office spent time volunteering at Harvesters, a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas.

Harvesters provides food and related household products to more than 620 not-for-profit agencies including emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others, in addition to offering education programs to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about good nutrition. 

We would like to applaud the OE Kansas City team for spending time at Harvesters packing boxes, helping their mission of feeding 141,500 people every month.
