[Editor’s note: This interview was recorded right as the pandemic began last year. For obvious reasons, it didn’t get the attention it deserved at that time. So we are re-running it in the hopes that Deanna, and all of Team USA, get their chance to safely compete in the Tokyo Games this summer.]
Andrew Corns sits down with St. Louis native, Olympian and World Champion, Deanna Price for an in-depth one-on-one interview.
A couple of guiding principles here at Office Essentials are supporting the communities we live, work and play in, as well as continually striving for excellence in everything we do for our customers. We had a special guest in the St. Louis office this week that is the embodiment of these principles, so we had to invite her to be on the podcast.
Deanna Price is an elite athlete with a list of accomplishments a mile long, but it’s her personality, spirit, humility, and overall joy that makes her the role model she is for young boys and girls across the planet. It was an honor to spend a couple of hours sitting down and discussing everything from her background growing up in the St. Louis area to her experiences competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics and winning a Gold Medal at the World Championship this summer in Qatar.
Keep your eyes out in 2021 as Deanna gears up for the Olympic Trials where she’ll look to make her second Olympic Games, which take place this summer (2021 – hopefully) in Tokyo, Japan.
