Sports Take Lunch Break Episode 14: Deanna Price, Olympic Athlete & World Champion

Andrew Corns and Deanna Price

Andrew Corns sits down with St. Louis native, Olympian and World Champion, Deanna Price for an in-depth one-on-one interview.

A couple of guiding principles here at Office Essentials is to support the communities we live, work and play in, as well as to continually strive for excellence in everything we do for our customers. We had a special guest in the St. Louis office this week that is the embodiment of these principals, so we had to invite her to be on the podcast.

Deanna Price is an elite athlete with a list of accomplishments a mile long, but it’s her personality, spirit, humility and overall joy that makes her the role model she is for young boys and girls across the planet. It was an honor to spend a couple of hours sitting down and discussing everything from her background growing up in the St. Louis area to her experiences competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics and winning a Gold Medal at the World Championship this summer in Qatar.

Keep your eyes out in 2020 as Deanna gears up for the Olympic Trials where she’ll look to make her second Olympic Games, which take place next summer (2020) in Tokyo, Japan.
