LTO back up tapes have increased exponentially in storage capacity since their release in the early 2000s. In fact, Generation 6 of Ultrium’s flagship LTO tapes can hold up to 6.25 TB of data on a single tape. But how much information is that, really? What happens when data size gets bigger and bigger?
